ARREST REPORTS

Three men have been arrested after the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section launched a probe into the suspected distribution of methamphetamine via the online classified advertisements website Craigslist. The ad portrayed “ice cubes” that have “crystalized already”.

After getting information October 26th about the scheme, undercover OCSO investigators contacted the author of the Craigslist ad, Eddie Blalock, and arranged a drug transaction.

On October 27th, undercover deputies met with Blalock, Jaymie Greek, and Robert Marks at a predetermined location in Destin. The trio were detained and investigators found approximately twelve grams of methamphetamine along with a loaded Taurus .40 caliber handgun and digital scales.

48-year old Eddie Blalock, no known address is charged with possession of amphetamine with intent to distribute, use of a two way communications device to facilitate a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

35-year old Robert Marks of DeFuniak Springs is charged with possession of amphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug equipment, and using a two way communications device to facilitate a felony.

27-year old Jaymie Lee Greek of Mary Esther is charged with carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Investigators say Greek was present for protection during the drug transaction.
