The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office today was awarded Reaccreditation by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) – evidence of the agency’s continuous pursuit of excellence.

The reaccreditation remains in effect for three years.

CFA Executive Director Lori Mizell told Sheriff Larry Ashley, “You and your agency are to be commended for your continued diligence, professionalism, and commitment in maintaining this highest recognition among Florida’s law enforcement community.”

Sheriff Ashley, who is a State Accreditation Commissioner and Vice Chairman of the Standards Review Committee, recused himself from today’s vote in Orlando.
