HOME INVASION ROBBERY INVESTIGATION
The Okaloosa County
Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion robbery that took place this
morning at the Gulf Dunes
condominium complex on Okaloosa Island.
An elderly couple from
Texas reports trying to leave their unit at 376 Santa Rosa Boulevard around 8:00
a.m. and being forced back inside by two men. At least one of the men was armed
with a handgun.
The victims say they
were subdued, then robbed of jewelry, cash, and other items before the two
robbers fled on foot.
Neither suffered
serious injuries.
The first suspect is
described as a heavyset white male with a goatee wearing a white T-shirt,
shorts, and a plaid over-shirt.
The second suspect is
described as a tall, slightly overweight white male with gray hair and glasses.
He was also wearing a white T-shirt and shorts.
