STABBING SUSPECT CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED BATTERY
A 19-year old
Fort Walton Beach man is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon
following a stabbing incident on Wednesday, September 23rd, at the Santa Rosa
Mall in Mary Esther. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office located suspect
Christopher Gregory Knockum at his home address of 341 Hollywood Boulevard
shortly after the violent altercation.
Investigators
say Knockum stabbed 18-year old Adrian Clark of 224 Oxford Court in Mary Esther
in the upper left arm during a fight around 5:45 p.m. inside the shopping
complex. Clark was taken by medical helicopter to Sacred Heart Hospital in
Pensacola.
Witnesses say
the pair were fighting over a female and a ten dollar debt Knockum reportedly
owed Clark.
