BODY FOUND ON OKALOOSA ISLAND

       The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of a man's body on the beach on Okaloosa Island Wednesday morning. His identity is unknown. The body was found behind the property at 380 Santa Rosa Boulevard around 7:30 a.m. after a man spotted it from his nearby balcony and walked down to verify it was a person.

       The  body has been taken to the Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. The deceased man is described as a slightly built white male who appears to be around 35 to 40 years old. He has brown hair with a balding spot on the back of his head. He was wearing only a silver necklace, silver bracelet, and silver pinky ring.
