MAN STABBED ON OKALOOSA ISLAND
The Okaloosa
County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that took place around 1:30
this morning on Okaloosa Island in front of the Green Frog nightspot.
27-year old
Jonathan Hess, last known address of 79 9th Avenue in Shalimar, was
stabbed in the leg after a confrontation with five men. Hess and his brother
were heading home on bicycles when a car carrying five Asian males drove by.
They exchanged words and the men got out of the car and stabbed Hess during a
brief fight. He was airlifted to
Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
The suspects’ car is
described as white Acura with a California tag. It had large rims and a spoiler.
Four of the five Asian males had short black hair but one had longer black hair
with light-colored streaks.
