DRUG TASK FORCE ACTIVE IN BACK-TO-BACK OPERATIONS

        The Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force conducted a raid Tuesday night at 715 Rodney Ave., Fort Walton Beach. 34-year old resident Leonel Chacon was arrested for Trafficking in Cocaine over 400 grams and Sale of Marijuana.   During his arrest, Chacon was found to be in possession of more than $14,000 and approximately ½ kilo of cocaine. Suspected false immigration and social security cards were also found on scene.  

       Investigators were able to connect Chacon to a residence at 154 Rickey Ave., Fort Walton Beach.  An additional search warrant was executed, leading to the arrests of 48-year old Elizabeth Dyer and 31-year old Daniel L. Dyer of that address on multiple drug charges.  Cocaine, marijuana, scales and additional drug paraphernalia were found there and seized. Investigators also discovered a marijuana indoor grow operation.  Fifteen live marijuana plants were seized from a back room that had been converted into an indoor grow lab.

      This investigation is ongoing and involves additional arrests and additional charges.  More than $24,000 in cash was seized overall. 

IN A SEPARATE, UNRELATED INVESTIGATION:  

        The Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force also served a narcotics search warrant at 678 Denton Lot 4, Fort Walton Beach on Wednesday morning (April 9) in a separate, unrelated investigation.   The search warrant resulted in the seizure of crack cocaine, marijuana, scales and additional drug paraphernalia. 

        19-year old Anthony Eubanks of the above address is charged with two counts Sale of Marijuana, 2 counts Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute within 1000 ft of a school (Pryor Middle School), Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

        20-year old Tramaine Coleman of Niceville is charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
