Four Suspects Sought in Shalimar Home Invasion

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is looking for four suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred early this morning in Shalimar.  Around 2:30 a.m. four suspects, three black males and one white male, entered a home located at 39 6th Avenue and restrained the occupants with duct tape then stole numerous items from the home.

The suspects are described to be in their teens to early twenties.  All were dressed in dark clothing except the white male, who wore a grey hooded sweatshirt with a white bandana around his face.  The white male is described as six feet tall and weighing around 200-210 pounds.  The three black males were approximately five feet, ten inches tall and weighing around 160-180 pounds.  One of the black males wore tan suede boots.  The suspects appeared to be armed with shotguns, but no one was injured during the robbery.

The investigation is on-going and more information will be available as time permits.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Keith Matz with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office at 850.609.2000 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850.863.TIPS.  An additional $3,000.00 award is being offered by Sheriff Charlie Morris
