SEARCH UNDERWAY FOR MISSING CHILD
Tatiana Pina
The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is searching a neighborhood for a
ten-year old girl who ran away from her Mary Esther home at 480 Rush Park Circle
around 7 p.m. Tuesday night. The child's grandparents, who have legal custody
of her, notified the Sheriff's Office that she was missing around ten p.m.
They say Tatiana Pina ran away and didn't return after being disciplined by
her grandmother. Her grandmother says Tatiana may have left the house wearing
only a bra and panties.
Last night deputies went door-to-door in a canvas of the neighborhood and
also used a bloodhound from Okaloosa Correctional Institution to try to track
Tatiana. The search was unsuccessful. The area is being swept repeatedly as
those efforts continue this morning.
In addition, the Sheriff's Office also sent out an automated "Missing
Child Alert" phone notification to all homes in the neighborhood.
No foul play is suspected, but the Sheriff's Office is asking anyone
with information on the girl's whereabouts to contact them at 850-651-7400.
