TWO TEENS
CHARGED WITH BURGLARY AND GRAND THEFT
The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has
arrested two teenage cousins on charges of burglary and grand theft: 18-year old
Timothy Woods II and 19-year old David Woods, both of 104 Chicago Avenue #1 in
Fort Walton Beach. The pair went into a townhome at 40 11th Street in
Shalimar Thursday morning and took clothing and other items. They were
confronted by the home owner, who then grabbed the clothes and tried to prevent
them from leaving. She fell down but was not harmed.
Sheriff's Office Investigator Brad Embry spotted the suspects' white
Buick car and followed them until back-up units arrived. Both teens were then
taken into custody at the corner of Yacht Club Drive and Ferry Road in Fort
Walton Beach. Other deputies and officers with the Fort Walton Beach Police
Department assisted.
Investigators have also charged Timothy Woods II with possession of crack
cocaine.
