IDENTITY THEFT AND HOLIDAY SAFETY PROGRAMS ON TAP

     You can soon take advantage of two helpful crime prevention presentations in Okaloosa County designed to protect you from identity theft and to ensure your holidays are safe and crime-free.

     Crime Prevention Specialist Ashley Barrineau with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office will be holding two programs this month at the Way of Life Unity Center at 1797 Hurlburt Field Road . The first is slated to take place on Monday, November 20^th at 7 p.m. It will include information on how to protect your personal documents, mail, and credit cards - both at home and out in public - from would-be identity thieves.

     The second program will also take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 27^th and will cover personal, car, and shopping safety during the holidays. Ashley will also touch on some popular holiday scams you need to look out for.

     The Way of Life Unity Center has graciously opened its doors to the public for these two presentations.
