NORTH
END RESIDENTS BEWARE
Residents in the north end of
Okaloosa
County
need to take extra precautions when putting bills in the mail boxes in front of
their homes. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is receiving reports of
someone stealing bills, credit cards, and other items out of mail boxes in
Crestview and outlying areas.
Residents should bring in their mail promptly whenever
possible. You can also take your bills and any other mail containing personal
information like account numbers directly to the Post Office.
It's also always advisable to keep a close tab on your credit card report and
your bank accounts. Please report any suspicious activity to the Okaloosa County
Sheriff's Office immediately by calling 689-5650 or 651-7400.
