Zone Safety
Sheriff Charlie Morris and the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Traffic
Enforcement Unit would like motorists to be mindful of our students as they
return to school on Thursday, August 3rd. The Traffic Unit will
be focusing on school zones, looking for aggressive driving and
speeding violations. Motorists need to be reminded that the speed limits
within the school zones are reduced and speeding fines are doubled during the
times the school zones are active.
