DRUG TASK FORCE SEIZES 16 POUNDS OF MARIJUANA

    The Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force announces the arrest of a Niceville man on multiple charges. 29-year old Percy Jermaine Williams of 200 White St. , Unit 9, is charged with possession of MDMA, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child abuse.

    A search warrant executed at Williams’ apartment on May 11^th turned up nearly sixteen pounds of pot in various spots, including under a bathroom sink, inside the AC closet, and behind a couch.  The street value of the marijuana is estimated at approximately $16,000.  Cocaine residue and a crushed MDMA, or ecstasy tablet, along with digital scales, were also discovered.

    Williams also faces a charge of child abuse because investigators says the marijuana was within reach of two minor children, and a ten-year old boy stated he’d been with Williams on more than one occasion when Williams was selling pot.
