GRAND THEFT ARREST

The Okaloosa County Sheriff ís Office has arrested a Pensacola man on charges of grand theft over 100-thousand dollars, forgery, and uttering a forged instrument. 54-year old Charles Craig Cole of 4204 Brittany Court was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Destin.

The Sheriff ís Office launched an investigation in January after the Chief Financial Officer for Legendary Builders provided an affidavit of complaint showing certain suspicious checks had been written to vendors and/or consultants used by Legendary Builders. Internal documentation showed the checks originated from Cole, who is Vice-President and General Manager of Legendary Builders, Inc.

Investigators believe Legendaryís loss exceeds 100-thousand dollars and was sustained over a period between January 2000 and December 2005.
