CHARGED WITH SHOOTING INTO AREA HOME
The Okaloosa County
Sheriff
’s Office has arrested two Niceville residents in connection with gunshots
fired into a
Fort Walton Beach
area home just after midnight. 17-year old James Bourgeois
(pictured right) of
117 Martha Street
is charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling and aggravated assault with
a firearm. 20-year old Schyler K. Pierce, also of
117 Martha Street
, is charged with being a principal to the same two charges.
Investigators say Pierce is accused of driving a car by a home at
792-D Navy Street
while Bourgeois fired up to five rounds at the residence. Deputies found
casings from a 25 caliber pistol at the scene. One bullet penetrated a bedroom
wall.
No one was injured and a motive for the shooting is unclear at this time.
Investigators have been searching for a third suspect in connection with a home
invasion robbery at
792-D Navy Street
residence on December 13th, but say it’s unclear at this time if the two
incidents are in fact connected.
