AGGRAVATED BATTERY INVESTIGATION

   The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is investigating the aggravated battery and attempted sexual assault of a 19-year old Shalimar resident. The victim says she was walking on 8^th Street around 10:45 p.m. November 1^st when a man attacked her from behind. The victim says she was punched, groped, and cut with a sharp object. She says the man then grabbed her purse and took cash from her wallet before running north on 8^th Street .

    The individual is described as a 5'10", white male with brown hair, 25 to 30 years old, with numerous tattoos, including a small one under his left eye. He was wearing a blue baseball hat, blue t-shirt, and jeans.
