A suspect has been arrested in connection with a Bank Robbery last week in southwest Okaloosa County.

Taken into custody this afternoon (Tuesday afternoon) at his residence, 1650 W. US Highway 98, Apartment 127, Mary Esther, was Julian Leon "Hulk" Jordan, age 25 (8-27-1979). Jordan is charged with Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault in the midday holdup last Thursday (November 18), of the First City Bank, Florosa Branch, 2090 W. US Highway 98, Mary Esther.

Jordan was developed as a possible suspect by the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office. A warrant was obtained after witnesses to the robbery identified him via a photographic lineup.

Deputies who had contact with Jordan in an unrelated incident a month earlier on Okaloosa Island had documented him to be driving a gold 1985 Chrysler, and in possession of a BB gun that resembles a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. Both match descriptions provided by witnesses at the bank robbery.

Jordan was released from prison in May, 2003, after serving time for an armed robbery in Duval County. He is also on probation for drug charges in Okaloosa County.
