The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office and the FBI are investigating a Bank Robbery in Florosa this afternoon (Thursday). The robber entered the First City Bank branch at 2090 West US Highway 98, Mary Esther, a few minutes after noon today and displayed a handgun to tellers.

The robber was described as a well groomed black male with short hair, muscular build between five feet eleven and six feet one inches tall. He appeared to be in his early 30's, and was wearing a faded blue v-neck shirt, faded jeans and a pair of construction type work boots.

The robber fled with an undetermined amount of cash in an older model gold or yellow colored Mercury or Chrysler with no license plate displayed. Witnesses last saw the suspect headed west on US Highway 98 towards Navarre. No one was injured during the robbery. No security camera photos are available.
