Residents of the Sylvania Heights area interested in starting, joining, or re-activating a Neighborhood Watch group will have an opportunity to learn about Neighborhood Watch and home security on Monday evening, September 20.
Crime Prevention Specialist Kathleen Larney of the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a community meeting at the New Hope Christian Church, 313 NW Lovejoy Road.
The meeting will begin at 6:00 that evening, and will include presentations on the Neighborhood Watch Program and home security, followed by a question and answer period.
