Alertness by an Okaloosa County Deputy is responsible for the discovery of an illegal methamphetamine lab in the Laurel Hill area this morning (Friday morning).

Deputy Michael Irwin spotted suspicious activity at a truck and heavy equipment repair shop, then located chemicals and supplies associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Arrested on charges of Trafficking in Methamphetamine were Henry Wallace Locke, age 57 (1-28-1947), of 7831 Steel Mill Creek Road, Laurel Hill; and James Lucky Joye, age 25 (12/21/1978), of Lockhart, Alabama.

Deputies had arrived at Locke's shop in attempt to locate Locke's son, Henry Clayton Locke, age 37, who is wanted on a Burglary warrant in Walton County. The younger Locke was not present, but Deputies became suspicious when they saw Joye hurriedly disposing of glass dishes.
