A community partnership that can increase public awareness on the importance of child care seat safety will take place Saturday, July 10th, from 11 to 1 at Preston Hood Chevrolet of Fort Walton Beach. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Traffic Safety and Enforcement Unit are teaming up with employees from Preston Hood to conduct child safety seat inspections. The Sheriff's Office is currently working with employees of Preston Hood on how to properly install child car seats and deputies will be available on Saturday to inspect car seats for proper installation.
