The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office and the West Florida Services Coalition will host a "Tribute" to remember victims and recognize survivors of crime on Thursday, April 8th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Fort Walton Landing. 

The "Tribute" will include Presentation of Colors by the Eglin Air Force Base Honor Guard, Escambia County Sheriff's Office Deputy Sheriff's Band, dignitaries and constitutional officers from Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties. Guest speakers, entertainment, food, and face painting for children will also be a part of the event. Victim service providers and allied professionals will be present to promote their organizations and disseminate information. This event is in collaboration of the 2004 National Victims' Rights Week.

In the event of rain, the "Tribute" will take place at the Marina Bay Resort conference room located at 80 SE Miracle Strip Parkway (Hwy 98), Fort Walton Beach. For more information, please contact the Victims Advocate Office of the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office at 651-7292.
