One man is dead and another is in jail after a fight in a lounge. Management of the Paradise Lounge, 724 N. Eglin Parkway, Fort Walton Beach, called the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office at approximately 3 AM on New Year's morning, reporting several patrons had been ejected, and others were fighting inside the club. Minutes later, Deputies arriving on scene reported disturbances both inside and outside the establishment.

The victim, Timothy Keith Stocker (pictured left), age 37 (3-29-1966), received a cut to the neck, severing a major blood vessel. He was transported by ambulance to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Stocker listed addresses in Navarre and in Marietta, Georgia.

The suspect, Atundoo Kieta Kanili (pictured right), age 30 (5-4-1973), of 22-C Bobolink Street, Fort Walton Beach, has been booked into the Okaloosa County Jail on an open count of Murder.

The fight involving Stocker and Kanili occurred on the dance floor inside the establishment. Details of the incident are under investigation.
