Around 2:45 a.m. this morning, OCSO deputies were called to the Circle K on Emerald Coast Parkway in Destin to check on a woman who appeared unconscious at the wheel. Deputies say a glass smoking device containing methamphetamine was in plain view.

They also found a black jewelry box in her car with a rolled up $20 bill. It held a plastic bag with methamphetamine, as well as brown strips of paper with Suboxone.

47-year old Becky Patten of Freeport is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
