The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a Safety/DUI Check Point at 749 Beal Parkway in Fort Walton Beach this Friday, September 1st, between the hours of 10:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. Motorists traveling in this area may be stopped and checked for violations of State Law. Driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol continue to be a major contributing factor in traffic crash occurrences. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing safe roadways, and Safety/DUI Check Points are one of many tools utilized to achieve this goal.
The OCSO encourages everyone to drive carefully, wear your safety belts, and PLEASE plan ahead and do not drink and drive.
