WELLS ARREST REPORT
A Fort Walton Beach man is charged with using rocks to damage a business on Lovejoy Road and a woman’s car parked on Elaine Avenue last night.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year old Andre Wells is connection with hitting a Dodge SUV in the right rear window and on the body around 9:30 last night at 203 Elaine Avenue before fleeing. He was apparently not aware the car owner was in the driver’s seat and saw the act.
Wells is also accused of throwing rocks at Props Brewery, 125 Lovejoy Road, around 10:15 p.m., causing approximately $2500 dollars in damage. That incident was caught on surveillance video and Wells was positively identified by a witness.
Wells was located at the Chili’s Restaurant on Mary Esther Boulevard where the Fort Walton Beach Police Department had made connection with him as a possible suspect in response to a bomb threat at the restaurant.
The OCSO charged wells with one count of felony criminal mischief and one count of misdemeanor criminal mischief.
