In conjunction with the City of Destin, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a Safety DUI Checkpoint on March 21st, 2015 at 726 Legion Dr. in Destin from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Deputies will be checking drivers for signs of intoxication and impairment. In 2014, 676 people dies in drunken-driving-related accidents in Florida, according to Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.
