Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputies responding to a criminal mischief call in Mary Esther early Sunday morning discovered the body of a woman at a nearby house. The initial call at 2:48 a.m. involved a complaint that a man was knocking over Christmas decorations.
Responding deputies received information that led them to check a nearby home, where they found the victim. A suspect is in custody and being questioned at this time. Next of kin notification has not yet been made. Additional details will be forthcoming.
