CHAMBERLAIN ARREST REPORT

A Santa Rosa County man faces three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in connection with the shooting of three people at an Okaloosa Island nightspot in May 2016.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year old Nkosi Albertie Chamberlain January 31st at his Navarre home.

Investigators say Albertie-Chamberlain shot Darrel Pickens, Angel Castilla, and Dallas Corbitt outside the Red Rose Gentlemen’s Club following altercations inside the establishment.

Corbitt was critically injured and required intensive care.

Chamberlain is seen on video surveillance punching Angel Castilla several times after a verbal altercation that then spilled outside with other individuals, and out of the camera’s view. A short time later people are seen running back inside with Corbitt and Pickens, then trying to give them medical aid.

Pickens told OCSO investigators he was in a fight with Nkosi’s brother before Nkosi shot him.

Meantime Corbitt, who was working security at the Red Rose at the time, said he had heard a loud noise outside and opened the door to see what was happening when he heard gunshots, felt something hit his chest, and realized he had been shot.
