Marie Carlson
The national television show “Cold Justice” will air an episode Friday, April 17th called “Devoted”, showcasing a suspicious Okaloosa County missing person case. The segment, which airs on TNT at 7 p.m. and again at 9 p.m., outlines the October 2011 disappearance of Marie Carlson of Fort Walton Beach. During the end of February, Cold Justice worked with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office regarding Carlson’s case in hopes of developing more information which would lead to a successful resolution. A cell phone expert was used to examine cell phone tower information gathered in the case. That review has provided crucial information.
Marie Carlson, DOB 10/7/1974, was reported missing by her ex-husband Jeff Carlson after he received a group text message from her phone number saying she was leaving the Ft. Walton Beach area. She was last seen on October 17, 2011. At the time of her disappearance, Marie was living with Pastor James Flanders and his wife Tanya.
