CRAWFORD ARREST REPORT
A Mississippi man considered a suspect in the murder of his grandmother in Picayune was arrested as a fugitive from justice Thursday by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office after being located at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
30-year old Thomas Crawford of Robert Road reportedly revealed to staff that he had killed his 71-year old grandmother because she wouldn’t let him use her car.
They learned Crawford is in fact wanted on a charge of homicide by the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office.
OCSO Deputies arrested Crawford at the hospital. They were also able to locate the victim’s vehicle, a black Suzuki, concealed in the wood line off Interstate 10 near Mile Marker 58.
