The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office continues interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence as investigators try to determine the sequence of events that led to two people being shot today at Oakdale Village Mobile Home Park off Gibson Road.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing several individuals running from a trailer at 720 Gibson Road around 5:30 Sunday morning. They also reported a car leaving the scene at a high rate of speed.

Deputies located 46-year old Conrad Johnson coming out his trailer, suffering from gunshot wounds to the right arm and buttocks.

Multiple shell casings were located outside his residence.

The Fort Walton Beach Police Department later made contact with a second gunshot victim on Chestnut Avenue. 26-year old Conrad Windsor of Gibson Road had been shot in the chest and arm.

Both men were transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

In addition, OCSO deputies located a car with multiple bullet holes on Viola Drive that is believed connected to the incident.

The investigation remains active.
