MYRES ARREST REPORT
A tip to Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers Monday led to the arrest of a Fort Walton Beach woman on a charge of sexual battery by a custodian with a victim under the age of 18.
25-year old Lauren Myres admitted to having a sexual relationship with a teen on numerous occasions at her home and a previous address. She initially told Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office investigators she knew it was illegal but allowed the relationship with the juvenile to continue.
The victim told investigators he did not believe it was wrong because he was not being “raped” and was “about to be 18”.
