The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting related to a domestic violence incident at a home near Fort Walton Beach.
Charges are pending against a 15-year old male who is currently in custody.
Investigators were called to 312-D Elaine Avenue around 9:47 a.m. after receiving a 9-1-1 call about shots being fired in the area.
They found that 19-year old Anthony Jerome ‘A.J.” Nix had suffered a gunshot wound during a physical altercation with the 15-year old.
Nix was transported to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola for treatment.
The teen suspect faces multiple felony charges.
