A man killed while walking his bicycle across Harbor Boulevard in Destin Monday night has been identified as 63 year old Rickie Lloyd Sanborn, no known address.
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area around 116 Harbor Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. July 11th after receiving reports of a man walking his bicycle across the highway being struck by a car. Witnesses say Sanborn started from the south side of the road and walked across eastbound traffic before entering the westbound lanes and being hit by a driver from Kentucky.
