ARREST REPORTS
An OCSO deputy who noticed a suspicious vehicle on Log Lake Road found the driver hiding in the woods and two others near the car. He quickly learned the vehicle had been stolen from Chestnut Avenue in Crestview earlier in the evening. The owner, who said she may have left it unlocked with the keys inside, later said she had been asleep and didn’t realize it was gone.
Also missing from the 2009 Chevrolet Heritage High Road SUV were two car seats, $90 cash, and fishing gear.
20-year old Ladarious Purdue and 16-year old Xavier Jones of Crestview are charged with grand theft auto, burglary, and grand theft.
18-year old Raheem Perdue is charged with grand theft auto. Deputies say additional charges are pending.
