HEBERT ARREST REPORT
A half dozen citizens alarmed by a reckless driver on Highway 98 Saturday afternoon wasted no time calling to report the dangerous motorist to law enforcement. A witness says the driver even hit a guardrail near Hurlburt Field.
An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy was able to spot the silver Dodge Ram and make a traffic stop around 5 p.m. in Mary Esther.
A search revealed 29-year old Timothy Brice Hebert of 316 Mountain Drive in Destin was in possession of Xanax and a syringe.
Hebert is charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
