SUSPECTED
ARIZONA
CON ARTISTS CAPTURED
Two suspected
Arizona
con artists are in custody thanks in part to the creative work of Okaloosa
County Sheriff’s Investigator Mike Irwin.
35-year old Shae Allan Hensley and 32-year old Theresa Michelle Hensley (alias
of Theresa Hill) had been living at
8327 Looney Road
in Baker for the past year. However both are wanted in
Arizona
on multiple charges, including grand larceny, conspiracy to commit theft,
fraudulent schemes and artifices, and theft. They’re accused of stealing at
least 80-thousand dollars from Three Forks Construction Company in Apache County
Arizona where Shae Allan Hensley had worked as a construction supervisor.
When
Arizona
authorities tracked them to
Okaloosa
County
, Investigator Mike Irwin called Theresa Hensley and told her it appeared
someone may have forged her signature on a check. She was asked to come in and
verify her signature. Hensley and her husband went to the Sheriff’s Office in
Crestview to check it out, were interviewed, and then arrested as fugitives from
justice.
They have waived extradition and are returning to
Arizona
today to face charges.
